The concept of Harbour jam was initiated in 2018 by some of local artists in Diamond Harbour. A band called 'Dot three' from the town and few other people were at the center of this concept. Anik, Shambo, Piku, Suddhasatta , Dipanjan were the very first members of this community. On 27th of July, 2018 HARBOUR JAM festival took place for the first time. It was at the premises of South Bengal Museum, Noongola. Local talents were at the heart of this festival and artists from the other cities were also a big part of this initiative. Musicians of different genres from various places participated.
Live music, drama, photography gallery and painting gallery were the main acts of this festival. It wouldn't be possible without the support from so many generous people who contributed to make it happen.
