Film screening

We will be showing several selected short films, including animations, with the aim to know, talk and do more about environment. 

We will be also showing 

1. 'Padi', (Crossing) a short film made by Filmmaker Sutanoy Chaudhury from Diamond Harbour. Sutanoy studied arts and design at the Srishti Academy, Bangalore. This was his diploma Film, and was shown at the Oberhausen Film Festival, 2012.  Film Description- Industrialisation is slowly creeping into the villages of West Bengal. All the farmlands are taken over to build factories. Raju, a boy from a small town in West Bengal, raises his voice against this through posters.  

2. -'Prithibilok', a short film made by members of Harbour Jam, and submitted to the IFP Challenge, 2022. It was amongst the best 30 Films selected by the juries.
