Permission has been granted from the country's highest court to cut down 350 century-old trees located on both sides of Jessore Road, to provide ease of movement for people and to boost the economy of the country. We request the honourable supreme court of India to consider preserving those trees and maintain them, so that they can bear witness to the history of the India and provide a home for various species of birds, insects and animals, if possible, for our overall development. 

To make our voices reach out to them for this movement to happen, we gathered behind Fakir Chand College, Diamond Harbour on the first day of Boishakh (Bengali New Year, 1430, 15th April, 2023) on the riverbank.
